I am a fully registered teacher with Graduate Diploma in ECE. I started my teaching career as a teacher and then grew up to be a team leader and now working as a centre manager. I have worked with children from different age groups from babies to young children. I have had a chance to mentor student teachers on practicum as well. I am very passionate about early childhood education and strongly believe in advocating for the rights of children by providing them with opportunities to be active participants in their own learning. I am confident that I can make a big difference in children’s life by offering them the best and high-quality education and care.

I decided to be a part of early childhood education system because I believe that children are the future of our society; children deserve the best. I believe that supporting families and whanau is the best way of serving our society. The children are foundation of every society. By helping support the growth and development of the children in their early years will help strengthen this foundation. Our endeavour is to always give our best to the little ones.

Daya
I am from the beautiful Island of Fiji, holding degree in Bachelor of Education from the University of Fiji. I worked as primary educator in Fiji for 20 years and then moved to New Zealand last year. I am a provisionally registered teacher now. The knowledge I have gained about early childhood philosophy after working in New Zealand has helped me to develop my own teaching philosophy. I believe every child is different. Children develop at different paces and have their very own strengths.
